Back To School Program � July/August

Help provide school supplies and put back packs together for needy children. Wednesday mornings 9am to 12 noon in August. No minimum time commitment.

Food Drives

Food drives are an integral part of Families Forward and a great way to get the community together and involved in giving back. Food drives can be organized in schools, churches, companies, neighborhoods, store front drives and more. Please contact our Volunteer Director for more information. We are currently in need of volunteers for this opportunity.

Thanksgiving Basket Program

Several opportunities to participate:

Thanksgiving food drives

Plan and schedule a food drive for our Thanksgiving Basket Program. Delivery and pick-up of food barrels is available for larger food drives. We are currently in need of volunteers for this opportunity.

Thanksgiving food bag preparations

Help prepare food bags for our big distribution day! Volunteers are needed during the evenings of November 12th to the 15th, 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm. A great family project! We are currently in need of volunteers for this opportunity.

Thanksgiving Distribution***

Help distribute food baskets to families. This is a popular event, so call early to sign up! Distribution is on November 17 from 9:15am � 11:30am and 11:15-1:30. We are currently in need of volunteers for this opportunity.

Half-Marathon Race to Support Families Forward

December 8 in Irvine. Volunteers needed to staff various stations of the race. This can be good for scout troops, youth groups, and families.

Adopt A Family Holiday Program

Several opportunities to participate:

Be a donor

Adopt A Family for the Holidays. Donor families sign up beginning in October and gifts are due at Families Forward during the first week in December. Please contact the office at 949-552-2727 for more information. We are currently in need of volunteers for this opportunity.

Prepare Gift Bags

Be a Holiday Angel! Help prepare the holiday gift bags for pickup by families. Beginning December 6 through December 21 there will be, morning and afternoon shifts. Contact Debbie for shift dates, times and availability. We are currently in need of volunteers for this opportunity.
