Families Forward 3rd Annual "There's No Place Like Home" Gala

We are excited to announce that on September 20, 2008 Families Forward
will host its 3rd annual "There is No Place Like Home" gala to
celebrate 24 years of successfully assisting families in crisis. This
year, we will honor Patt and Roger Grable and the law firm of Gibson,
Dunn & Crutcher, long-term loyal supporters of Families Forward.
The gala will be held at the stunning Fairmont Newport Beach Hotel and
our goal is to raise $400,000, which will support our comprehensive
array or services such as transitional housing, homeless prevention,
career coaching, food assistance and referrals.

Thanksgiving Program

Each year Families Forward holds a Thanksgiving-themed grocery distribution for local families. The Saturday before Thanksgiving Day, our parking lot is magically turned into a fun zone, where families of our donors, clients, and staff celebrate the upcoming holidays and community spirit. A local Fire Department, childcare centers, and vendors team up to provide unforgettable activities for children and parents.
Last year we provided close to 500 families with groceries and items that they needed to make a delicious home-cooked Thanksgiving meal to share with their loved ones. Please help us surpass this number by donating gift cards from grocery stores, food items, or by organizing a food drive at your school or organization.
